UNIMULTI-PEXAL  Multi-layer pipe

UTILISATION FOR HEATING AND CONDITIONING
Pipeline carrying the heat carrier fluid, with utilisation possibility for all the year, both for warm water and for refrigerated water, with thermal insulation conforming to the most stringent requisites of law. For use within the prescribed limits: Pressure 10 bar, temperature 95­°C.

UTILISATION FOR DOMESTIC AND SANITARY USE
Pipeline carrying the drinkable and sanitary water.
Usable for cold and/or warm water, with specific thermal insulations.

SMALL THERMAL EXPANSION
Coefficient of linear thermal expansion: 0,025 mm/mK.
The adoption of the intermediate aluminum layer confers to the UNICAL multi-layer pipeline a thermal expansion comparable to the metallic pipelines and, however, very smaller in comparison to the traditional plastic pipelines.

HIGH RESISTANCE TO THE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE
Maximum working temperatures among -30­°C and +95°­C with peaks of -40­°C and 110­°C; maximum working pressure 10 bar.

HOLDING OF THE SHAPE (MEMORY)
The aluminium core of the UNICAL multi-layer pipeline allows to maintain in the time the shape and the bending. It unites, therefore, the manageability of the plastic pipelines to the inalterability of the metallic pipelines.

SILENTNESS
Unlike the metallic pipelines, with the correct selection of the diameter, the formation and diffusion of the annoying noises, due to the water flow is avoided.

DEPOSIT RESISTANT
Thanks to the limited roughness of the inside surface (0,007mm), the obstruction possibility by the deposits contained in the C.H. circuit water is reduced to the minimum.

TIGHTNESS TO THE OXYGEN DIFFUSION
The aluminum core makes perfectly impermeable the pipeline to the osmosis phenomenon, principal cause of corrosion of the metallic components of the C.H. system.

EASE AND FASTNESS OF INSTALLATION
Reduced weight and flexibility of the pipe, allow a quick installation with notable saving of time in comparison to the traditional pipelines.

MAX-MULTIPEX  Press fittings for UNIMULTI-PEXAL type
The use of the press fittings simplifies notably the multi-layer pipe connections.
The connection results fast and clean thanks to the total absence of sealing materials compounds and lubricating liquids.
The hole at the bottom of the sleeve allows the verification of the correct insertion of the pipe, guaranteeing a perfect tightness of the joint after pressing.
N.B. For a correct union the pipe must be inserted up to the beat.

PARTICULAR ALLOY OF METALS
All the MAX-MULTIPEX fittings are in alloy containing high percentages of Copper, Aluminum and Iron. The presence in elevated percentages of Aluminum, confers to the press fittings a notable lightness and resistance at the same time.

PERFECT MECHANICAL TIGHTNESS
The mechanical tightness is guaranteed from a particular hose fitting with concentric cones, whose direction is opposite to the one of pipe insertion, guaranteeing, in symbiosis with the double or-ring in EPDM, a connection stable and constant in the time.

EASE AND SAFETY OF INSTALLATION
The anchorage sleeve, endowed with holes for the verification of the correct insertion of the pipe, is rmade of stainless steel AISI 304. The tightness ring in plastic material allows a complete removal of the sleeve from the same fitting, facilitating its substitution if it was necessary, besides to developing the function of dielectric joint, for the annulment of possible stray currents.
